We're Hiring - Correction Officer Transfers

Putnam County Sheriff's Office Correctional Facility is accepting applications for Correction Officer Transfers. All Candidates for transfer must currently be working as a Correction Officer and have completed their term of probation at their original agency.

Correction Officer Transfer Requirements:

Needed:

1. Roster Card:
   (Employee History Information for State Employees) from the current agency. This shows current employment history and salaries.
2. Test Announcement:
   From which employee was hired. This is something that can be obtained from personnel or Human resources.
3. Residency Requirement:
   Must be a Putnam County resident or a resident of an adjoining County.
4. Completed Applications:
   Putnam County Application for Employment (4 Page) Download
   Putnam County Sheriff's Office Application (15 pages)
   All applications must be completed, signed, and notarized

Putnam County Sheriff's Office Application will be provided upon receiving the completed Putnam County Application

Applications are also being accepted for Corrections Cook at the Sheriff's Office. This position is for part-time/ per diem hours.
