The Community, Safety, and Intelligence Division serves as the technological and community backbone of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. By integrating frontline community policing with advanced data analytics and technical infrastructure, the Division ensures a proactive, modern approach to public safety.
Our Core Focus Areas:
- Community-Based Policing: We provide unified leadership for our School Resource Officers (SRO), Special Patrol Officers (SPO), and Co-Response Team, fostering safe environments in our schools and across our neighborhoods.
- Intelligence & Threat Assessment: Our team monitors crime trends and emerging threats in real-time, working with local, state, and federal partners to keep our residents and businesses one step ahead.
- Communications & Technology: We manage the Office’s mission-critical technology, from radio operations and records management to our seamless coordination with the Putnam County Bureau of Emergency Services and 911 Dispatch.
