It was a busy weekend for our deputies as they worked around the clock responding to calls, making arrests, investigating incidents, and keeping Putnam County safe.
- Southeast – Deputies responded to a person in crisis at a local motel. The individual was having a mental health emergency and was transported to the hospital.
- Patterson – Deputies responded to a condo complex for a dispute between several juveniles. The situation was resolved.
- Southeast – A subject was arrested for DWI following a traffic stop. They were later released with an appearance ticket.
- Putnam Valley – Deputies responded to a domestic incident. The situation was handled on scene.
- Southeast – Following a traffic stop, deputies arrested a female subject for DWI. During the arrest and subsequent processing, the individual became combative and was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration.
- Philipstown – Deputies arrested a subject following an investigation into a complaint that the individual had followed another person in a vehicle. The subject was charged with Stalking and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation.
- Patterson – Deputies responded to a person in crisis. The individual was having a mental health emergency and was transported to the hospital.
- Patterson – Deputies arrested a subject for Menacing with a Firearm following a reported road rage incident.
- Southeast – Deputies responded to a domestic incident. The situation was resolved on scene.
- Putnam Valley – Following a traffic stop, deputies arrested a subject for displaying a false inspection sticker on their vehicle. The subject was released on an Appearance Ticket.
- Philipstown – Deputies responded to a serious motor vehicle accident involving a bicyclist on Route 9. The injured cyclist was transported by helicopter to a regional trauma center for treatment. Additional information may be released at a later time.
