The United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York has announced federal charges against Cory Matthews and Beth Saiers stemming from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office investigation into the sexual exploitation of a child.
U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton praised the efforts of the FBI, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Putnam County District Attorney’s Office, Putnam County Child Advocacy Center Team, Putnam County Department of Social Services, New York State Police, Carmel Police Department, Kent Police Department, and the Lock Haven (PA) Police Department in connection with this investigation.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to protecting children and working alongside our law enforcement partners to investigate and prosecute these horrific crimes.
