Connect & Protect is a Putnam County Sheriff’s Office initiative that helps local businesses share key information with first responders. Participating businesses can register and keep up to date their owner contact information, security camera details, and building information. With that information on file, law enforcement, fire departments, and other emergency personnel can respond more quickly and effectively.

Putnam businesses may also choose to set up a secure camera connection with the Sheriff’s Office, to be accessed only during emergencies. This real-time view lets responding deputies assess threats, coordinate their response, and gather information that may support later investigations.
