- Putnam Valley – Deputies responded to a report of a missing vulnerable person with dementia who had wandered away from their residence during the night. Multiple units responded to assist with the search, including K-9 teams and a drone. The individual later returned home from a wooded area and was evaluated by EMS.
- Southeast – Deputies responded to a welfare check at a local gas station involving an individual who had made concerning statements. Deputies determined that the individual was experiencing a mental health crisis. The individual became combative and attempted to remove a deputy’s body-worn camera. The individual was arrested for Obstructing Governmental Administration and Resisting Arrest and was subsequently found to be in possession of cocaine, ketamine and other controlled substances. Following processing, the individual was transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.
- Kent – Deputies assisted Kent Police with a domestic dispute involving a vehicle. The incident was subsequently turned over to Kent Police for further investigation.
- Southeast – Deputies responded to a disabled vehicle on Route 312 and determined that the driver had a suspended license and an active warrant from the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. The driver was issued an appearance ticket and turned over to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.
