Road Patrol

The Road Patrol Division serves as the primary uniformed presence of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, providing 24/7 response to calls for service across the county. Our deputies are the frontline of public safety, handling a wide range of incidents, including emergencies, criminal investigations, motor vehicle crashes, and quality-of-life complaints. Through proactive patrol and community engagement, the Division works to deter crime, protect residents, and maintain a visible presence throughout Putnam County.
