Sheriff McConville and his Command Staff held the 2024/ 2nd Quarter Threat Assessment Management (TAM) briefing with Putnam County School Districts. The Sheriff's Office has staff in almost all county schools and enjoys a collaborative relationship with each.
The Sheriff's Office has certified Deputies who are trained in identifying behavioral patterns that often indicate violence. Today’s discussion focused on the investigative process and collaborative effort between county agencies, including the Mental Health Department, School Districts, BOCES, and Law Enforcement.
