Sheriff Langley Reports Multiple Arrests

–Two Search Warrants Executed by the Narcotics Enforcement Unit in a 24-Hour Period –
Arrests

Just before midnight on March 24, 2021 members of the NEU and the Town of Carmel Police Department were working together on an investigation into heroin sales in the Mahopac area of the Town of Carmel. Vincent Pascuicco was arrested in possession of suspected heroin in the Town of Carmel. A search warrant was subsequently issued for his home by the Town of Carmel Justice Court and executed by members of both departments on March 25, 2021, at about 12:30PM. This resulted in the seizure of additional drugs and packaging materials. Pasciucco was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree, and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree.

At around 6:00 PM, members of the NEU conducted a traffic stop of a stolen vehicle in the Town of Southeast. Two subjects were arrested in the vehicle after being found in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine. They were charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle in Third Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.

At about 8:00 PM, members of the NEU executed a search warrant on an apartment in the Town of Patterson. The warrant resulted in the seizure of suspected fentanyl and drug packaging materials. The NEU began an investigation into drug sales at the residence in early March after receiving complaints from the community about drug dealing from the location. Members of the NEU conducted controlled buys of fentanyl, marketed as heroin, from subjects within the residence in the weeks that followed. Arrested were Robert Torzilli, who was charged with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree; and Randi Cascino, was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.
