On Wednesday, September 24th, Sheriff McConville held a round table discussion with Jewish faith leaders from all our Putnam County Synagogues. Presentations with information were given on safety and security measures that can be put in place at houses of worship and the PCSO Site Safety & Security Program service that is offered to the public. An intelligence and information briefing was given along with a demonstration of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office Threat Assessment Management program PCTAM.NET. Collaboration for planning upcoming events and religious holidays was also discussed. The meeting was a great opportunity to continue collaborating with our community leaders.
The Sheriff's Office would like to remind all that if you have a suspicion or information on a person that you feel may be a threat to public safety, please contact us either by calling 911 or (845) 225 - 4300 and asking to speak with a Deputy Sheriff or utilizing our online reporting tool at PCTAM.NET.
