Putnam County Sheriff Kevin J. McConville reports the arrest of a Town of Patterson, NY man for a drug possession charge.
On November 15, 2024, at approximately 3:45 PM, members of the Narcotics Enforcement Unit stopped a vehicle driving westbound on Interstate 84 in the Town of Southeast. The driver, Randy A. Cascino, 35-years-old possessed suspected fentanyl during the stop. He was taken into custody and transported to the Putnam County Correctional Facility for processing.
Cascino was issued an appearance ticket for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, a class A misdemeanor, and released on his own recognizance to appear at a future court date in the Town of Southeast.
