On Wednesday, August 21, several false bomb threats were received at Jewish institutions in Canada and the United States. There were no reports targeting Putnam County.
The incidents were investigated by authorities and are being classified as 'false reports.' We have been advised that there is currently no information leading investigators to believe any of the threats were credible. And that at this time, there is no cause for alarm pertaining to these reports.
