10 years. Today we pause to remember City of Poughkeepsie Detective John M. Falcone. Detective Falcone was shot and killed in the line of duty on Feb. 18th, 2011, at a domestic disturbance. John was previously a Putnam County Sheriff’s Cadet and a Town of Kent Police Officer before serving with distinction in the City of Poughkeepsie.
Detective Falcone may be gone, but the sacrifice he made will never be forgotten.
