Congratulations to Police Academy Graduates

During difficult times we come to find our finest officers. The 149th Session of the Westchester County Police Academy is just such an example.

The session started on January 6, 2020, with 96 recruits who believed this would be the normal but difficult basic police officer training. No one could have predicted that we would be hit with a global pandemic which would test everyone young and old alike.

We are proud of all the graduates of the 149th session for they all have shown what it takes to be a police officer. They stuck together and ensured all 96 of them made it to today’s graduation.

Congratulations and welcome to the greatest career and honor anyone can have in serving your community.

We are especially proud of Deputy Sheriff Corey Berke of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department who will soon be hitting the streets and serving the people of Putnam County. We would like to extend congratulations to the Town of Carmel Police Department and their graduates Police Officer Vincent Desatola and Police Officer Arthur Kloskowski who will be proudly serving the Town of Carmel.
